FREIGHT4ALL Smart ICT networking solutions allowing accessibility 4 all
Freight 4 All, a project financed by the European program for territorial Cooperation MED 2007/2013 aims at tackling the fragmented functioning of transnational multimodal freight transport chains by providing an interoperable and distributed ICT solution. It will facilitate the remote collaboration of the involved parties and joint use of available e-logistics systems, thus strengthening territorial cohesion and providing cost effective and sustainable services. The real life cases and extensive communication program will effectively capitalise results to the wider transport community.
High stakeholder orientation, Freight 4 All involves major intermodal hubs, capable to bring real cases and corresponding actors. The regional authorities support the local transport community to obtain access to the major transport networks. The mix of decision makers and business actors ensures the involvement of a representative number of relevant users from various regional communities towards long term business affairs.
